I am a musician based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My main work is as a performing cellist and teacher. In addition, I am also busy as a conductor, arranger and musical director.

As a musician I value diversity. Teaching makes me a better player, and playing makes me a better teacher. Working with amateurs and students gives me insight which I would never receive from working solely with professionals. Embracing new genres and styles refreshes my approach, helping me keep an open mind and a clean pair of ears.
